Environment
A low-footprint, digital-first business
As a software consultancy, Atomate's direct environmental footprint is modest compared to manufacturing or physical infrastructure businesses. That is by design — our model is built on cloud-hosted delivery, remote teams, and paperless operations. We work deliberately to keep it that way.
Remote-first workforce
A significant share of our team works remotely or in hybrid arrangements. This reduces commuting emissions and minimises the office energy demand required to support our people.
Cloud-hosted operations
Client projects and internal systems run on AWS and Google Cloud. We operate no company-owned server infrastructure, avoiding the energy and cooling burden of on-premise hardware.
Paperless by default
Contracts, project reporting, documentation, and collaboration are conducted digitally. Physical printing is the exception, not the norm, across all our offices.
Digital collaboration over travel
Video conferencing and async tools replace the majority of business travel for both client engagements and internal team communication.
Responsible hardware lifecycle
Company devices are maintained and used for their full useful life. We do not replace equipment on a fixed cycle — hardware is upgraded only when necessary.
Our commitments going forward

People & Working Practices
Remote and hybrid working are standard, not a perk. We invest in structured professional development — including Scrum, cloud, security, and AI certifications — and operate fair, transparent compensation arrangements for employees, contractors, and freelancers.
Community
As a Moldova IT Park member, we contribute to the local technology sector's growth. We have supported the USAID Democracy Hackathon initiative and built digital platforms for charitable and donor-matching organisations. Our public-sector work in the UK supports government digital infrastructure.
Modern Slavery
Atomate has a zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery and human trafficking. Our supply chain is predominantly digital — cloud providers, SaaS platforms, and professional services — which we assess as low risk. All material suppliers operate under written agreements that include labour law compliance expectations.

Good governance at Atomate means clear accountability, externally verified quality standards, and policies that are publicly available and regularly reviewed — not filed away internally.
ISO 9001:2015 Certified
Our Quality Management System is ISO 9001:2015 certified, accredited by UKAS (UK's national accreditation body) and audited by SGS (world leader in inspection and certification). This is not a self-assessed standard — it is independently verified.
Crown Commercial Supplier
Atomate is an approved Crown Commercial Supplier, meeting the procurement and compliance standards required to deliver services to UK Government bodies and public-sector organisations.
Industry memberships
Member of the Moldova IT Innovation Technology Park. Technology partners include AWS, Google Cloud, and Rackspace.
Published policies
All Atomate policies are publicly available. Each is reviewed on a minimum two-year cycle, with overall responsibility held by the Administrator of Atomate Limited.
